Exactly as described. Shipment came a day early. I mounted one of my Sougayilang 500 reels on it and gave it a dry test. I found the base handle uncomfortably short and the absence of a front grip is going to take some rethinking the way I cast. I think I will create a forward grip with some foam tape and shrink tube. The rod itself seems very stable and feels good. I now have two of them and look forward to catching many prize taking fish.
