It glows in the dark if it has been around enough light to self charge it. I mainly got it because I drop the fire stick all the time and I thought it would help soften the blow which it does cushion it. Very pleased with this purchase.

fits on nice and snug. love the color, nice material, makes it easy to spot and keeps the back cover from falling out when dropped, as well as cushions the fall a bit. it actually does glow in the dark but not very bright, I assume it's the charge up glow material that shines bright when you leave it in the sun or shine a light on it for a few minutes. still a great purchase and glad I got it for the reasons I mentioned above. 10/10 do recommend.
